about me
A graduate of Middlebury College (Bachelor of Arts with High Departmental Honors in history), and holder of a Master of Arts in Social Studies Education from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, I spent several years teaching in New York City. At the same time, I developed a practice as a songwriter, film composer, and screenwriter of auteur documentary films. These ongoing endeavors reflect my passion for diverse narratives, places, cultures, and for authentic forms of transmission. Whether it’s a class, a film, or a musical composition, I am driven by the desire to create spaces where different ideas, works, and perspectives can come together.
